Our Family

As a child, I made a profession of faith in Bible school. I trusted in that until I was twenty years old. I had taken a new job and on my first day at work a man asked me “if I died, would I go to heaven”. This begin to trouble me. I knew about Jesus. I knew about the Cross. The Spirit of God began to deal with my heart and I knew I was going to hell. I realized that I wasn’t under conviction when I had made my profession as a child. There had been no evidence of Christ coming into my life. Finally, in May 1999, I came to the end of myself and went to the altar at Victory Baptist Church in Robbinsville, N.C.  There at an old fahioned altar, I was born again by the Grace of God. I later surrendered to the call to preach on May 9,2001. I then started preaching in churches, the nursing home, and in the local jail until God called us to pastor East Alarka Baptist Church in Bryson City, N.C. and then later to Second Baptist Church in Murphy, N.C. I have worked in the jail ministry ever since God called me to preach. In 2008, God started directing me toward prisions and has called me to the incarcerated of America. To preach deliverance to the captives. Luke 4:18.
In May of 1998, God allowed to marry Missy Millsaps. She is my best friend. She got saved at an old fashoned tent revival on August 4, 2003.. She has been such a blessing in my life and in my ministry. God has blessed us with two wonderful little girls. Abbey Marie was born on November 27 2001 and Emily Page  on June 6 2003. Abbey got saved on March 7, 2010. God has been so good to my family. What a joy it is just to be able to serve Him. We are currently on deputation trying to raise our support so we can reach the inmates with the gospel. Please pray for us as we try to do His will and, run the race set before us.
