January-February 2017 Prayer

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

Let me start off this letter by thanking each one of you who have prayed, called, texted, sent cards, special offerings, and so many other things during Missy’s recent illness! It is overwhelming to know that so many have been praying for our family during this time! God has heard and answered! Missy has recently finished a round of chemo treatments, which have been very hard for her! After her treatments, the doctors done some more tests and have determined that they have worked and she is now cancer free! We praise the Lord for this! It has been amazing to watch the hand of the Lord work through all of this! Please continue to pray for her, as they will keep a very close eye on her over the next few months! We’d ask you to keep remembering Emily in your prayers, as well. A specialist at Duke Children’s Hospital has been seeing her in an attempt to discover what is going on with her immune system. She has struggled for some time now and we are asking the Lord to touch her and give the doctors wisdom.

As far as the ministry goes, the Lord has been keeping us busy and blessing our efforts in reaching the incarcerated with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus! We have had some tremendous services and seen the Lord do amazing things. As always, we had our regular services at Craggy Correctional and Yancey County Jail. The Lord blessed and we saw three men call on the Lord for salvation during these meetings! Also during January, we were at a juvenile facility in Tampa FL for a three day revival. God moved in a mighty way during this meeting and we had eleven juveniles and one correctional officer trust Christ for salvation!

During the month of February, along with our regular services, we were also able to go to Montgomery AL to help in a prison blitz with ROA ministries. During this week we were able to concentrate our efforts in a juvenile facility and the Lord done great and mighty things in the hearts of so many. The Lord allowed us to have several different services in the dorms with the young men and we saw 26 of them call on the Lord for salvation! Please pray for these young men, they were many others that needed to respond to the Gospel message but refused. The seed was planted and we are praying for God to give the increase.

Please continue to pray for our family as we endeavor to do our part in carrying out the great commission. Our schedule is filling up quickly and we are excited about the opportunities the Lord has given us to serve Him. Thank you again for your faithful prayers and support for our family and ministry. We are so grateful to the Lord for allowing our paths to cross with so many great people and churches. We pray that God supplies all your need according to his riches in glory! If anyone would like for us to come by and give an update on what God is doing, please contact us and we would be glad to schedule a time to come in the future. God Bless!

                  There Is Hope,

                                    Todd, Missy, Abbey, and Emily
