Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborers,

Eph. 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” Often times we rejoice in the material blessings that we receive, and we should, but our spiritual blessings far exceed any temporal gain we might accumulate in this world! We rejoice in what we enjoy in Christ Jesus and we trust this letter finds each of you enjoying the wonderful spiritual blessings of our Lord!

July was a very busy month. We started out the month of July preaching a youth camp for Calvary Baptist Church of Amory MS. We have been involved in this meeting for the last few years and it is always a tremendous blessing! Calvary Baptist Church and Pastor Rodney Waycaster do a wonderful job putting on this camp and we are grateful they allow us the opportunity to be a part of it. God moved in a powerful way during this week. From there we were at Craggy correctional for our regular services at this facility. The Lord is continuing to bless our ministry here and we had a wonderful time in the Lord. Also, we had the privilege of being at Morrison Correctional Institute for revival meeting. This facility has an adult side and a youth side on the same compound. We were able to go to both while we were there and we saw nine men in total call on the Lord for salvation. After the week in prison, we traveled to Sparta NC to preach in a tent meeting for one of our supporting churches. The Lord moved and two men trusted Christ during the services there. We finished the month of July, at another church where we helped in their VBS for the week!

August started off very busy with our services at Craggy Correctional as well as another revival at a church close home. The Lord blessed at our prison meetings and at the revival! After these meetings, Missy had some very serious oral surgery that has took her a couple weeks to recover from. I was able to take a few days off from traveling to care for her while she was recovering. She is doing a lot better now and we are grateful for the Lord’s help. Please pray for her and her health.

We have a very busy schedule in the days ahead and we desire your prayers that the Lord would bless our efforts to reach others with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus. We are planning a trip to Honduras to help conduct a youth camp at the first of the year. Our plans are to take the whole family to be a part of this wonderful opportunity. We are so excited about this trip and we would ask that you help us pray that God would raise the needed funds for this endeavor. We know He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Thank you again for your faithful support of our ministry. We could not do what we do without your help. May the grace of our precious Lord be with you always! God Bless!
