March-April 2012 Prayer Letter

March-April 2012 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

The last couple of months have been real busy and we have seen the Lord do amazing things in the ministry. During the month of March we were in two prison revivals at two different youth facilities, one in Mississippi and one in Morganton NC. In each of these meetings we saw several young men give their hearts and lives to the Lord. What a blessing it is to be able to carry the powerful Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ into a prison and tell young men that have lost everything, that there is hope in Christ.

We are still carrying on in the other facilities that we are working in on a regular basis and the Lord has blessed greatly in this area of our ministry. We have had one saved in each of the last two services at Craggy Correctional in Asheville. God has really blessed at this facility. Please pray that God would continue to bless at this prison and that others would come to Christ. At every prison we go to, there is some that acknowledge that they need Christ but refuse to come to him. This was the case the last time we went to Yancey County jail. There were four or five men that admitted they were lost but would not move. Please pray that God would soften their hearts and that they would get saved before it’s too late.

The public school ministry is going real well. God has given us favor with the kids and with the staff. We just finished for this school year but we have been asked to come back as soon as school starts in the fall. This has been a tremendous blessing to work with those young kids. We are meeting with another public school in our neighboring county at the first of May about the possibility of starting the character classes there next year as well. Please help us pray for God to open this door. This would put us in two public schools in our area. If there has ever been a time when we need to reach out to our young people it is in this day and time in which we are living in!

We have a very busy schedule coming up over the next couple of months with prison meetings, deputation meetings, revivals and one mission conference out west. Please pray for traveling mercies for our family and that the Lord would bless in these meetings. We are honored to be doing the work of God and amazed at all the doors he has been opening in our lives.

We really appreciate everyone that has prayed for Missy. She is doing much better now and it has been a while since she has had a kidney stone. Please keep praying for her that she will not have any more trouble with these things. Also pray for her family, she has an uncle that is dying with cancer, he is barely holding on so it won’t be much longer until he goes on to be with the Lord! So please remember them when you pray.

Our support continues to come in each month and we are now about 78% of our needed support. Please help us pray for the rest of our support to come in. We are grateful for every church that has a part in our ministry. We would like to thank each and every one of you for all you do for our family. We could not do what God has called us to do without all the prayers and financial support each of you provide. May the grace of our precious Lord be with you always!

                   There Is Hope,

                             Todd, Missy, Abbey, & Emily
