March-April 2014 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborers,

Greetings in the name that is above every name, we hope this letter finds each of you enjoying the goodness of our Saviour! We have been very busy in the ministry and we’ve seen the Lord do many things since our last letter. We started out the month of March at Craggy Correctional where we had two men call on God for salvation. Then we were able to go back to Walnut Grove MS for a prison revival! The Lord moved at this facility and we saw several young men trust Christ! While we were there, we talked with many men that had gotten saved the last time we came and preached. Many testified about how their lives had been changed since they called on the Lord! What a blessing to see God work in the lives of these young men and to hear them tell about how He makes all things new!!

Also in March, the school principal asked me to preach during their FCA meeting. This was a blessing because they had the meeting during the school day and almost the whole middle school came. The Lord blessed and after I preached one young lady came forward and got saved! What a tremendous opportunity to be able to share the Gospel in the public school!! I mentioned in our last letter about how we were going to host a youth rally at our home church to try and get some of the kids in our classes to come. The meeting was a great success, there were over 200 young people there and two of them got saved by the grace of God! We are having another one of these youth rallies in May and also are planning one for June. Please help us pray for God to move in the hearts of these young people.

In April we were in Okeechobee, FL for a revival in three different youth facilities. God really moved and several young men trusted Christ as their Saviour! Please help us pray for the young men at these facilities, many got saved but they were several that acknowledged the fact they were lost but they refused to come to Christ.

Recently in one of our services at the Graham County Jail we had two men come forward and get saved. One of the young men that got saved was a young man that had been in our character classes at the public school. A few weeks ago he had gotten mad at a teacher and quit. After he got saved he asked me if I would tell the teacher he was sorry for how he acted toward him before he quit. What a blessing to see some immediate fruit of a changed life.

We would like to say thank you for your continued prayers and support. It is humbling to know that God’s people give so we can do the work that God has called us to do. We don’t take that for granted but we pray for you all continually that God would supply all your need according to his riches in glory! Please keep us in your prayers as we endeavor to reach others with the powerful Gospel of Christ! Also, pray for our family as we have a very busy schedule coming up and will be on the road a great deal. Please pray for traveling mercies as we travel and for souls to be saved in our efforts. May the grace of our precious Lord be with you all.
