March-April 2015 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we hope this letter finds each of you enjoying the blessings of God.  Let me first start off by apologizing that this letter is a little late. Since our last letter we have been very busy in the ministry.

We started out the month of March in Walnut Grove MS for a prison revival! The Lord moved at this facility and we saw 14 young men trust Christ as their saviour! Also, in March we had six saved at Craggy Correctional and one saved at the Graham County Jail! Also, during the month of March we got some encouraging news at our regular service at the Yancey County Jail.  After our service one Friday night a man that we have been praying for, came up and said he had gotten saved in his cell the Sunday before! This man has been in and out of jail several times and we had been praying for God to touch his heart for over two years. He told us that God had been dealing with his heart for a while and he was just tired of running so he called on the Lord! God is still able to save sinners!

April has been extremely busy! We started out in Craggy Correctional for our regular services and the Lord blessed in a mighty way! Many were in the altars getting help from the Lord and one young man called on the Lord for salvation! From there we went to Polk Correctional Institute in Butner NC for a prison revival. The Lord blessed in this revival and we saw several young men trust Christ as their saviour. Also, the Lord opened a new door in Cherokee County Jail. We have been praying for an open door in this facility for a long time and the Lord saw fit to grant our request. We had our first service there recently and it went very well! Please help us pray that God will bless and this new opportunity and give us favor with the inmates as well as the staff.  As well as the jails, prisons, and the public school the Lord allowed us to be a part of three different church revivals this month. It was a great blessing to be a part of these meetings. The Lord gave us some tremendous services and we are grateful for this opportunity.

As many of you may know, our oldest daughter, Abbey has been having some health problems. Recently the doctors discovered she has Grave’s disease, which is an auto-immune disease, that causes hyperthyroidism. She had to have a treatment to kill her thyroid and will be put on thyroid medicine once everything is taken care of. Please help us pray for the Lords touch on her and for grace to help in the time of need. We appreciate all the prayers that have been prayed, all the calls, and words of encouragement in recent days! It is a blessing to know that so many are praying for our family! Please continue to remember our family when you pray.

We would like to say thank you for your continued prayers and support. It is humbling to know that God’s people give so we can do the work that God has called us to do. We don’t take that for granted but we pray for you continually that God would supply all your need according to his riches in glory! Please keep us in your prayers as we endeavor to reach others with the powerful Gospel of Christ! Also, pray for our family as we have a very busy schedule coming up and will be on the road a great deal. Please pray for traveling mercies as we travel and for souls to be saved in our efforts. May the grace of our precious Lord be with you all. God Bless!

        There Is Hope,

                          Todd, Missy, Abbey, & Emily
