March-April 2017 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor, Church and Co-Laborers,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we hope this letter finds each of you enjoying His goodness. Let me start by giving you an update on everyone’s health. Missy is gaining more strength each day, and is doing much better. After her treatments she got sick with flu, strep throat, and then pneumonia. The doctors said the treatments had really drained her immune system and it was going to take some time to fully recover. We appreciate all that have prayed for her health, she has had a tough few months but the Lord has been faithful through it all! As many of you know, Emily has been dealing some health issues for a while and we recently took her to Duke Children’s Hospital for some more tests. They adjusted her medications some and since then she has been doing much better. Please continue to pray for their health in the coming days!

The last couple of months have been real busy in the ministry! We started out the month of March in Revival at Corinth B/C in MS and from there we traveled to Fort Worth TX to preach at the Longvue B/C for a soul winners conference. The Lord blessed these meetings and we had a great time in the Lord.   We traveled back to be at our regular services at Yancey County Jail and the Lord gave us four wonderful services there. Several men acknowledged their need for salvation but would not come forward. Please pray that the Lord will continue to work in their hearts! From there we were in Elkin NC for the Foothills Youth Fellowship meeting. God moved in this youth meeting in a powerful way and we praise Him for all He done! Then we were back at Craggy Correctional for services with the men of this facility.

April was another busy month with revival meetings at Old Savannah B/C in Sylva, NC, Victory Bible B/C in King NC, and Pilot View B/C in Hillsville VA. We are grateful for how the Lord moved during these meetings! At our regular services at Craggy Correctional in April we had two men call on the Lord for salvation. Also, the Lord has opened more doors here at this facility. The men have been begging the chaplain to allow us to conduct even more services there. He has already given us several more days and we praise the Lord for this answer to prayer. Our services at the lower custody unit of Craggy are growing and we are seeing more and more come out to hear the word of God! Help us pray that the Lord will continue to bless the work there. We had one man saved at Yancey County Jail in April, as well as, one saved at the Graham County Jail. We praise the Lord for every soul that is saved and every life that is changed.

Again, thank you for all you do for our family! We are truly grateful for all the support and the prayers that are prayed on our behalf!  We have a very busy schedule over the next few months and are excited about what God is doing! Please continue to pray that Lord will use our family and that He will get the glory in all things! If anyone would like for us to come by and give an update on what God is doing, please contact us and we would be glad to come back by. We love each one of you and look forward to seeing or hearing from you soon. May the grace of our precious Lord be with you always! God Bless!

                   There Is Hope,

                                   Todd, Missy, Abbey, and Emily
