March-April Prayer Letter 2011

March – April 2011 Prayer letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborers,
Greetings in the name that is above every name, I want to thank you again for your prayers and faithful support. We could not do the work that God has called us to do without you.
The revival in the youth facility, during March, went great. We saw 86 professions of faith for the week. What a blessing to see God move on the hearts of these young men. The last morning of the revival, I walked up to a young man’s cell and began to talk to him about his salvation. He informed me that he had gotten saved the night before in our service. This young man told me that he was a Muslim before the Lord saved him and that his whole family is also Muslim. I will never forget what he said to me in the hall way of that youth facility “Preacher I don’t want my momma to go to hell! I want her to know that Jesus is the only way to heaven! Will you show me how to take the bible and witness to her?” It is wonderful to see these young men get saved and get a burden for their family. Please pray for him and his family. These men often face a lot of opposition, so keep praying for those that made professions and the countless others that heard the Gospel but didn’t receive it.
We are very excited about what the Lord is doing in our lives. Our support is continuing to increase and we are confident that the time has come to step out on faith, and at the end of April I will be leaving my job and going on full time deputation as well as increasing what we are currently doing in the prisons and jails. We have several meetings coming up over the next several months please pray that God would continue to bless our family as we try to do His will. In Col 4:3, Paul gave a prayer request that “God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ.” Paul is asking people to pray that his ministry would be expanded. This is our hearts desire. Please help us pray that God would enlarge our ministry!
We would like to thank each new supporting church that has added us to their mission outreach. Since our last letter we have had seven new supporters. Please keep praying that other churches will decide to partner with us in reaching the incarcerated of America. It is our desire to leave each church having left them with a small piece of the burden that we feel in our hearts. Thank you again for everything. We love each one of you and look forward to seeing or hearing from you soon.

              There Is Hope,
