May-June 2012 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

Heb 4:16 “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Of all the privileges the saints of God enjoy, perhaps the greatest is the privilege of prayer. To be able to go directly into the presence of the Lord is an honor beyond description. It is also an honor, to know that so many of you take our family to the Lord in prayer and we are so grateful for all the prayers that are prayed on our behalf. Without the prayers of God’s people we could not do what we are doing. Please continue to pray for our family that God would supply our needs and use us to do a mighty work for Him!

In our last service at Craggy Correctional we had two men come forward and ask the Lord to save them. God is really blessing in this prison, just about every time we have been there lately there has been at least one saved. We are grateful to be a part of what God is doing there. Please pray for this facility we will be having revival there in July and we would love to see God do a mighty work there amongst those inmates.

In our last letter we asked you to pray for those at Yancey County Jail, because several had acknowledged they were lost but would not come to Christ. Keep praying for these men, recently one of them came forward during our service and trusted Christ has his saviour! There are still others there that need God though. During the same service one man came forward confused and trying to find the truth. He said that he wasn’t sure what to believe and that he just had a hard time believing in anything. We gave him a bible and asked if he would read it with an open mind asking God to show him the truth. He promised he would!! Please ask God to take the scriptures and work in his heart. He is getting out soon and it would be a blessing to see him get saved before he does.

God is blessing in the other facilities that we are in as well. In WYI many of the young men that had been coming to our services have been released and several new young men have started to come out.  Please pray that God would work in their hearts and that they would give their lives to Christ.  Also, pray that God would open some new doors for us. We are working on getting into a prison in Tennessee and we would appreciate if you would make this a matter of prayer.

God has always been faithful giving us exactly what we need and we are so thankful for all that he has done for us. We would like to thank each church and individual who has allowed God to use them to be a blessing to our family. We are now at 80% of our needed support and we would love to be able to raise the rest of what we need quickly so we can focus all of our energy on reaching the incarcerated of America. Please help us pray that God would work this out. We would ask those who do not support us to please prayerfully consider partnering with our family to reach the inmates who so desperately need to hear about the grace of God. May the grace of our precious Lord be with you always! God Bless!
