Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we hope this letter finds each of you enjoying the blessings of God. As always, the summer months are a very busy time for us and this year is no exception. We are grateful for every opportunity to be involved in the work of God.

The Lord gave us some tremendous services at Craggy Correctional, during the Month of May, and we saw one individual call on the Lord for salvation. After one of our services there, we were traveling home and stopped at a gas station. As we walked into the station, I noticed a very young man and lady sitting on the sidewalk. We approached them and discovered they were living on the streets. The young man had just arrived in Asheville from California. He had jumped a train and traveled across country to meet the young lady. We gave them a couple backpacks full of food and shared the Word of God with them. The young man had never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel before. After a thorough explanation of the need and way of salvation, they both called on the Lord to save them from their sins! This young couple was eighteen years old! We gave them some discipleship material and directed them to a church in the area. Please remember them when you pray! Also, in May, we were back at the Concord Baptist Church in Burnsville NC for their annual Memorial weekend youth rally. The Lord gave us a great time and blessed the services in a mighty way!

During the month of June, the Lord answered a prayer that we had been praying about for some time concerning the ministry at Craggy Correctional. We have been praying that we would be allowed to hold more services at this facility. Not only did the Lord give us several extra services for the month of June, but we have been giving an extra Sunday night service each month on top of what we are already doing at this facility. This has been a great blessing. I started preaching through the book of First John verse by verse. Our desire is to disciple those that have gotten saved and give them a strong foundation of the truth. The Lord has blessed our study of the word of God. Many are hungry to grow in their faith and do a work for God. It is encouraging to see the growth in these men! We also had a great time at the Yancey County and Graham County Jail with one man calling on the Lord for salvation. At the end of June, we were at our annual Prayer Baptist Missions International meeting. This was a great time of refreshing and encouragement!

As far as prayer requests go, please continue to pray for our family as we travel and do the work God has called us to do. We have a very busy schedule this summer and fall with prison meetings, youth camps, youth meetings, and a few church revivals along the way! We are praying about another foreign trip in the winter months. Please make this a matter of prayer. I know the Lord can provide. We still need a few more churches to partner with us to get our support level to where it needs to be, please help us pray for the Lord to provide this need!

Again, thank you for all you do for our family! We are truly grateful for all the support and the prayers that are prayed on our behalf! If anyone would like for us to come by and give an update on what God is doing, please contact us and we would be glad to work out a time to come by.  May the grace of our precious Lord be with you always! God Bless!
