May-June 2017 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

Psalms 33:11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. What a great blessing it is to know that in an ever changing world we have the assurance of a never changing Word! The counsel and instruction we discover in the Word of the Lord is as sure today as it has ever been! This is our hope as we carry His Word to those that are in need in these days!

As always, we have had a very busy summer thus far. The Lord has given us several more services at Craggy Correctional in the last few months. As you know, we visit this facility on a regular basis and have been praying for this for sometime. The Lord is faithful, as always, and has answered our prayers. It has been a great blessing to have more of an open door at this facility! We have several men that come only to our services here and we have watched the Lord work in their hearts and lives over time! Over the past two months we have seen six men at this facility call on the Lord for salvation. Four of these were during a three-day revival that we participated in at the end of June. We praise the Lord for saving souls and allowing us the opportunity to share the Gospel to those that are incarcerated! We also have had some great services in Yancey County Jail, Buncombe County Jail, and Graham County Jail as well! Please keep the men in these facilities in your prayers! We know that His Word will not return void and we are trusting the Lord to continue to work in their hearts!

As we enter into the summer months, our schedule has filled up with youth meetings and camps that we are involved in every summer. We returned to Concord Baptist Church in Burnsville NC for a three day youth meeting in May. This was the same youth meeting and church that broke out in revival last year with many saved. God blessed during our three days there and gave us some wonderful services. We didn’t see anyone saved this year but many were encouraged in the Lord! During the month of June, we were involved in a youth camp at Corinth Baptist Church in Lucedale MS. We had a great time during this meeting in which we had two services a day and activities in between! The Lord blessed this week and we saw three young people call on the Lord for salvation!

Thank you for your continued support, both prayerfully and financially! We love and appreciate each of you! It is humbling to know that God’s people give so we can do the work that God has called us to do. We don’t take that for granted but we pray for you continually that God would supply all your need according to his riches in glory! Please keep us in your prayers as we endeavor to reach others with the powerful Gospel of Christ! Also, we would ask you to pray that the Lord would enlarge our coasts and open even more doors in the days ahead! It is our desire to be used of the Lord in a mighty way in these last days! We know God is able! May the grace of our precious Lord be with you always!

                There Is Hope,
