November-December 2014 Prayer letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we hope this letter finds each of you enjoying the blessings of God. We had a great Christmas and are very excited about what God is going to do in the upcoming year! The Lord has blessed our family and our ministry this past year more than we could ever imagine. We are so thankful for all who take part in our ministry. We could not do what we do with out your continued support and prayers. Also, we would like to thank each one for all the cards and the extra gifts that were sent our way over the holiday season. You helped make this a wonderful Christmas for our family and for that we are very grateful!

The Lord has blessed in a mighty way in the ministry! We have seen the Lord do some amazing things in the hearts of people. We started out November in Craggy Correctional with our regular services. God moved and many were encouraged in the Lord. Often times during our regular services at Craggy Correctional and Buncombe Correctional we are able to disciple those who have recently gotten saved. Please pray for these men as we try and teach and encourage them to serve God faithfully. Also, during November we held a revival at Graham County Jail here in our area. The Lord moved in this meeting and we saw three young men call on God for salvation.

December started off with a revival at a prison in Walnut Grove, Mississippi! God blessed this meeting and we had several that trusted Christ for salvation! Then we were at Yancey County Jail for our regular services. God blessed in this jail and two men came forward and called on God for Salvation! There were some, as always, that acknowledged they were lost but would not come up during the invitation. Please pray for these men that God would continue to deal with their hearts and get them to the place where they are willing to turn to Him! We are praying for every seed we plant that God would give the increase. He promised that His word would not return void! Also during December, we were able to take 127 backpacks full of food, hygiene items, tracts, and a bible to Knoxville TN and give them to those that are homeless. We were also able to distribute over 100 heavy blankets to those living in the cold. Several from our church were able to help with our efforts there and we had a great time reaching out to those in need. As always, our greatest desire is to share the Gospel of Christ with them! We handed out several tracts and witnessed to everyone that got a bag! The Lord blessed and we saw one lady turn to Christ and call out for salvation!

We are looking forward to what the Lord has in store for us this year. We already have a lot going on in the coming months and we are praying for the Lord to open many new doors in the days ahead. Please continue to pray for us as we endeavor to carry out the great commission. If anyone would like for us to come by and give an update on what God is doing, please contact us and we would be glad to come back by. May the grace of our precious Lord be with you always! God Bless!
