November-December 2015 Prayer letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we hope this letter finds each of you enjoying the blessings of God and that everyone had a wonderful holiday season. We had a great Christmas and are very excited about what God is going to do in the upcoming year! We would like to thank each one for all the cards and the extra gifts that were sent our way over the holiday season. You helped make this a wonderful Christmas for our family and for that we are very grateful! The Lord has blessed our family and our ministry more than we could ever imagine and we are so thankful for all who partner with us to help reach others with the Gospel. We could not do what we do with out your continued support and prayers. Thanks again for everything!

We were able to help in a revival at Polk Correctional in Butner, NC during the month of November. The Lord blessed in this meeting and we saw several young men trust the Lord for salvation. One of these young men that got saved during this meeting began to tell us that he was there by mistake! He was trying to attend another religious gathering but got the locations confused and ended up coming in and hearing the Gospel! After the preaching of the word of God this young man came forward with a broken heart and called on the Lord Jesus for salvation!! This was exciting to see how overcome with joy he was for how God had worked everything out and put him in a place to hear about what God could do for him!! From there we went to Yancey County Jail for our regular service. The Lord moved at this jail in a mighty way and we had two men come forward and call on the Lord for salvation!!

December started with a revival at Walnut Grove Correctional in MS. The Lord gave us a wonderful meeting at this facility. The first two days we were there we were able to visit on the units and talk to the men individually, sharing the Gospel with them. On the last day of the revival, they allowed us to have three different services and the Lord really blessed our efforts at this facility as we saw several men trust Christ as their Saviour!! Also, during December, one of our supporting churches packed us some backpacks to distribute to the homeless. Just a few days before Christmas we were able to take them to Knoxville, TN and give them out! We didn’t see anyone saved that day but we were able to share the Gospel with everyone that received a bag. One of those that we spoke with was a mother with a three-year-old girl. It is heartbreaking to see so many that are struggling and suffering especially those with children. We were able to give each of them some items and we had a bag just for this little girl full of food, hygiene, and a couple of toys. She was so happy to get her very own backpack!  Please help us pray for this mother and child, as well as all of them that we were able to share the Gospel with that day. They have physical needs but many of them have a far greater need for salvation.

We are looking forward to what the Lord has in store for us this year. We already have a lot going on in the coming months and we are praying for the Lord to open many new doors in the days ahead. Please continue to pray for us as we endeavor to carry out the great commission. If anyone would like for us to come by and give an update on what God is doing, please contact us and we would be glad to come back by. May the grace of our precious Lord be with you always! God Bless!
