November-December 2016 Prayer letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we hope this letter finds each of you enjoying the blessings of God. We had a great Christmas and are very excited about what God is going to do in the upcoming year! The Lord has blessed our family and our ministry this past year more than we could ever imagine. As we begin 2017, we are excited to be starting our eighth year trying to reach the incarcerated with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus. We have seen the Lord do so much over the past few years and we are looking forward to watching Him do even more. We are so thankful for all who take part in our ministry. We could not do what we do with out your continued support and prayers. Also, we would like to thank each one for all the cards and the extra gifts that were sent our way over the holiday season. You helped make this a wonderful Christmas for our family and for that we are very grateful!

The Lord blessed in our services during the last two months. We had two saved in our services at Craggy Correctional, three saved at Yancey County Jail, and two saved at Graham county Jail. Often we are asked if these men continue to serve God after their release. Recently, we were contacted by two different men that were in Craggy and had recently been released They both were doing well and had found a job as well as a church that they were attending faithfully. This was a great encouragement. Please pray for these men as well as others that are making the transition back into society.

Please pray for our family. Emily, our youngest daughter, is still having some health trouble and the doctors still haven’t found a treatment that will help. This has been very difficult for her. Please help us pray that the Lord would touch and give the doctors wisdom. Also, Missy has been having some test run over the last couple weeks. She recently had a biopsy to determine if she has breast cancer. The results came back positive and we will be meeting the doctors to determine what her course of treatment will be. We would ask that you make this a matter of prayer. We know that the Lord is able and we are trusting HIM to intervene in this situation.

We have a busy schedule in the coming months and we are praying for the Lord to open many new doors. Please continue to pray for us as we endeavor to carry out the great commission. Thank you again for your continued prayers and support. We don’t take that for granted but we pray for you all continually that God would supply all your need according to his riches in glory!  If anyone would like for us to come by and give an update on what God is doing, please contact us and we would be glad to come back by. May the grace of our precious Lord be with you always! God Bless!

       There Is Hope,

                     Todd, Missy, Abbey, and Emily
