September-October 2013 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

“I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous works” (Ps. 9:1) We would like to start off by praising the Lord for all of his goodness towards our family! He has truly blessed our family and our ministry in so many ways and we are so grateful! Since our last letter we have been very busy in the work of the Lord!

In September we started out in Mississippi where we had a revival at a large youth prison and also at a local jail in that area! The Lord blessed our efforts and we saw a total of 40 men get saved in the youth prison and three saved in the local jail! We also were in a prison in South Carolina for a revival for three days at the end of the month where we saw 12 more men get saved by God’s grace! We also had two more men saved at Yancey County Jail! Please keep these men in your prayers! Also during September we went to Greenville, SC to witness to the homeless in that area! While we were there we handed out several backpacks full of food and supplies as well as gave them the good news of the Gospel! During this trip we saw four homeless people call on the Lord for Salvation!

October started out with two saved at Craggy during our monthly service there! Also we traveled to Okeechobee, Fl for a revival at two different youth facilities at the end of October. The Lord blessed in these facilities and we saw 17 young men give their hearts to the Lord Jesus!! What a blessing to see God work in the hearts of these young men!! It is amazing to watch God take the word of God and change lives! Friday night a young man came that was a Muslim and God opened his eyes to the truth! During the invitation he was the first in the altar asking God to save him from his sin! On the way down we stopped in St. Augustine, Fl. to try to find some homeless people to witness to and the Lord allowed us to see two young men that had left Utah and had been traveling across the country living on the streets!! We gave them some food and most importantly we gave them the Gospel!! These two young realized they needed God and called on Him for salvation! Bless the Lord!!!

Please continue to pray for all that we have going on in the ministry. We are now in two schools teaching prison prevention weekly and we are still trying to reach the homeless as well! We have a big blanket drive planed in November in Knoxville, TN. Pray that the Lord blesses and we are able to see many come to Christ through this! We also have many prison and jail meetings coming up in the next couple of months that we are asking the Lord to bless and give the increase!

We would like to say thank you for your continued prayers and support. It is humbling to know that God’s people give so we can do the work that God has called us to do. We don’t take that for granted but we pray for you all continually that God would supply all your needs according to his riches in glory! May the grace of our precious Lord be with you all!
