September-October 2015 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we hope this letter finds each of you enjoying the blessings of God.  Let me first start off by apologizing that this letter is a little late. Since our last letter we have been very busy in the ministry.

The month of September started with our regular service at Craggy Correctional in Asheville NC. The Lord blessed really blessed in our services there and two men came forward and called on the Lord for Salvation! From there we traveled to MS for a revival at two different facilities. During the day we were in Walnut Grove Correctional facility and at night we had services at the Leake County Jail! The Lord moved in both of these institutions and blessed our efforts! After being in these facilities day and night for several days we saw 29 men trust Christ as their personal Saviour! From there we came back for our services at the Yancey County Jail where we had two men call on God for salvation. Also during September, we went to SC for a prison revival in Manning Correctional. This meeting was a great blessing and several men were saved, as well as encouraged in their walk with God! It is a blessing to see God working in the hearts and lives of these men that many people have forgotten about!

October was a busy month as well. As always, we started out the month at Craggy Correctional and we had one man saved by the grace of God! This facility has been fruitful and we have seen many saved over the years. We are praying for the Lord to open another door in this prison so we can do even more there. Please help us pray God would work this out for his glory! From there we traveled down to Ocala FL for a revival at a juvenile facility! The Lord blessed in all of our services in this youth facility and we saw 8 teenage boys call on God for salvation! We are so thankful for those that trusted Christ but, at the same time, we are saddened because they were several that rejected the gospel that week! One young man went so far as to spit in a bible and mock the preaching of the word of God! Amazingly the next night he came back to the service and God changed his attitude. God was working in his heart. After service, we talked to him at great length. He wanted to a new life but was afraid that God didn’t love him any longer for all he had done! I’m glad I could tell him, with complete confidence, that God loves him unconditionally!! This young man still walked out of the service without receiving Christ as his Saviour. Please help us pray that God would continue to work in his heart and that he would turn to Him for salvation!! I know God is able to save whosoever will call upon him! After this trip, we came home and started a revival at the Graham County Jail in our hometown. The Lord touched hearts and helped in every service there and on the last night of the meeting, one young man came forward and asked the Lord to save him! He testified afterwards that he hadn’t slept all night, that God had been dealing with him ever since the first service in the revival, and that he couldn’t take it anymore!! I sure do appreciate the convicting power of God that can draw sinners to a place of repentance!!

We would like to say thank you for your continued prayers and support. We don’t take for granted all you do for our family but we pray for you all continually that God would supply all your need according to his riches in glory! Please keep us in your prayers as we endeavor to reach others with the wonderful gospel message! If you would like for us to come by to give your church an update just give us a call and we would be glad to do that. Thanks again and God Bless!!
