September-October 2016 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. (Phil. 2:5-8) There is little fame or glory in this world for servants, but God sees those who are faithful even when they are not noticed by others. The Lord was willing to humble Himself and bow down as a servant in order to meet the needs of others. We are never more like Christ than when we humbly serve others. What a privilege we have to serve the Lord by reaching others for His glory! We could not carry out this great privilege without people like you who are willing to give so we can do what God has called us to do! We could never express our gratitude for all that is done for our family! May the Lord greatly bless each of you with all the blessings of His grace!

September was a very busy and fruitful month in the ministry. As always we had a wonderful time at our regular services at Craggy Correctional, Buncombe County Correctional, Graham County Jail, and Yancey County Jail! The Lord continues to bless in these facilities and allows the opportunity to share the word of God! It is a blessing to know that the word of the Lord will not return void! We were also in SC in Manning Correctional for a prison revival. The Lord gave us a good week in this facility and we saw several men call on the Lord for salvation. Also in September we officially started our sixth year of character classes at the public school in our area. This has been a tremendous opportunity and we are excited about what the Lord is going to do in this upcoming year. We ask that you pray that God would bless and use us in this area of our ministry!

We started out October at Craggy Correctional with a wonderful service at our regular service there! We had a great crowd and a good move around the altar! From there we were at Yancey County Jail. The Lord moved in a powerful way in all of the services at this facility and we saw four men call on the Lord for salvation. We were also able to travel to Pearl MS for another prison revival! The Lord really blessed during the revival there and we saw several men ask the Lord to save them from their sins! This was our first time at this facility and we are thankful for the opportunity to share the Gospel there.

Again, thank you for all you do for our family! We are truly grateful for all the support and the prayers that are prayed on our behalf!  Please continue to pray that Lord will use our family and that He will get the glory in all things! If anyone would like for us to come by and give an update on what God is doing, please contact us and we would be glad to come back by. We love each one of you and look forward to seeing or hearing from you soon. May the grace of our precious Lord be with you always! God Bless!
