September-October 2017 Prayer Letter

Dear Pastor, Church Family, and Co-laborer,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, we hope this letter finds each of you enjoying His goodness. We are honored to be writing you all to share what all God has been doing in the ministry. The Lord is faithful in opening doors and providing for our needs and we are grateful for His many blessings on our family!

During the month of September, the Lord allowed to be a part of a relief effort in Houston Texas for the victims of hurricane Harvey. We were able to travel to the Houston area and assist some local churches. We helped these churches unload the trucks, we had sent, and also was able to go out into the community and distribute supplies to those in need. The devastation we saw was heart breaking. These people will need our continued prayers for many days to come. Of course, our main goal was to share the gospel and we were able to so with several in that area. We would like to thank each church and individual who invested time and money to make this outreach possible. From there we were at Hoke Correctional for a three-day prison revival. God blessed the revival meeting at this facility and we saw several men call on the Lord for salvation. The following week we were in Columbia SC at Broad River Correctional for another revival. We had three wonderful services at this facility and we saw four men trust Christ as their Saviour.

In October, we started off at Polk Correctional in Butner NC. God really moved in a mighty way at this prison. The administration made some changes concerning how we had done things in the past. They would not allow any visitation in the dorms but they brought each dorm out for a service. We were able to preach to the young men at this facility several times over a three-day period. The Lord touched many hearts during these days of preaching and we saw a total of 33 professions during the week with many getting help from the Lord. God also blessed our regular services at Craggy and Yancey County these two months. Please keep praying for the men in these facilities. We have had several acknowledge their need for salvation but haven’t responded as of yet. We are asking the Lord to continue to deal with these men and that they would come to Christ for salvation.

Please keep our family in your prayers. We have many opportunities in the days ahead, including a trip to Africa in November, that we are looking forward too. We are excited about what the Lord is doing and all he allows us to have a part in. We are grateful to each one that partners with us, through prayer and financial support, and allows us the privilege of doing what God has called us to do. We fail not to make mention of you all in our prayers. If anyone would like for us to come by and give an update to your church, please feel free to contact us. God Bless you all.

              There I Hope,

                            Todd, Missy, Abbey, and Emily
